Electronic Recycling Event

Have you ever wondered what we do with your old computer? Or what you should do? Once your hard drive is removed and destroyed you should recycle your computer or any other electronic equipment.

On Saturday October 23rd, 2010 from 8:30am - 12:30pm Camden County will be conducting an electronic recycling collection. They take everything from computers to batteries.

HOW:
Follow the signs, drive through the parking lot, pull up and let them unload your recyclableS. you will need to verify you are a camden county resident, usually you can just write a camden county address and that's sufficient.

  • Laptops

  • Monitors
  • Mice
  • Radios
  • Scanner/Printers
  • Stereo Equipment
  • Tape Players
  • Telephones
  • TVs
  • Typewriters
  • VCRs

* Make sure to remove and destroy your hard drive before recycling your computer. In order to be DOD Compliant make sure to use a very large sledge hammer when destroying your drive.
